Stanton Warriors’s Punks Music presents “Shadow Selection” curated by Left/Right :.

Second edition for Punks Selection series that follows last year “Warehouse Selection”, last month UK bass legends and heads label Stanton Warriors brought Texan bad man and elegant knowledge dropping Left/Right to curate the brand new “Shadows Selection” and you can trust this is high level of quality just by checking the names of Stanton Warriors themselves, FOAMO, My Nu Leng, Taiki Nulight & Hervé, Evil Nine, Worthy, Left/Right, Distro, Sly-One, Nixon, Crowford, Pelikann, Bromley and a few more usual dancefloor suspects. All tracks are made for club consumption so you will not need to undergo unnecessary festival oriented climaxes, all clean and well produced ready to make a crowd enjoy without many drops and build ups. Old school Breaks finds modern low frequencies finesse, Jackin House finally got some improvements and stopped being fucking repetitive and obvious and the same goes for Garage and Bassline elements that characterize most of the tracks of the compilation but brings always something new to the table, could be hypnotic/trippy elements, foggy textures and ambiances. Vocals can go from rap, classic soulful samples, electro whisperings or low pitched guttural without forgetting the US chopped and screwed tradition.Of course there are clichés and that is also the good part, to grab the past with inspiration and respect to reinvent the present. Choose your platform and grab it here.
